Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and components.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to ensure accurate installation.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections of electrical equipment to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Test electrical systems and continuity to ensure they are installed according to local and national codes (NEC).
- Secure necessary permits and ensure all work complies with safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding project status and issues.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Technical trade school certification is a plus.
- No prior experience required; we provide paid on-the-job training.
- Must possess a valid Texas Driver's License and a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to safety.
- Willingness to obtain a Texas Electrician License once trained.
