Responsibilities
- Assist Senior Electricians: Support experienced team members with residential and commercial wiring projects under supervision.
- Install Equipment: Help in the installation of electrical panels, outlets, lighting fixtures, and switchgear.
- Material Handling: Transport and organize tools, materials, and equipment to job sites efficiently.
- Safety Compliance: Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to all OSHA safety regulations.
- Blueprint Reading: Begin learning to interpret blueprints and electrical diagrams to understand project layouts.
- Site Maintenance: Clean up work areas after job completion and ensure tools are properly stored.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- License: Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record (required for site travel).
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Skills: Basic math skills and general mechanical aptitude are a plus.
- Attitude: Strong work ethic, reliability, and a desire to learn the trade.
- Background: Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
