Your Role
As an Entry Level Electrician Apprentice, you will work closely with senior technicians to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential and commercial properties. You will gain hands-on experience while contributing to high-quality projects across the Greater Los Angeles area.
Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians with the installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems, including wiring, outlets, lighting, and circuit breakers.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand project requirements.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical equipment to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Use hand and power tools, including multimeters, wire strippers, and drills, in accordance with safety protocols.
- Maintain a clean and organized work site, ensuring all tools and materials are accounted for.
- Adhere to all local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC) and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic understanding of mathematics (fractions, decimals) is preferred.
- Willingness to obtain required state electrical licensing upon completion of apprenticeship.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a desire to learn a skilled trade.
