Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians: Support senior technicians with residential and commercial installations, repairs, and maintenance.
- Blueprint Reading: Learn to interpret electrical blueprints and schematics to understand circuit layouts.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA safety standards and company protocols to ensure a safe work environment.
- Tool Maintenance: Properly operate, clean, and maintain electrical hand tools and power equipment.
- Site Preparation: Prepare job sites, organize materials, and maintain a clutter-free workspace.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with clients, answering questions and maintaining a positive reputation for the company.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED is required.
- License: Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly; stand for extended periods; and work in various weather conditions.
- Skills: Basic math skills, mechanical aptitude, and good hand-eye coordination.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
