Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians with residential and commercial electrical installations.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Perform basic wiring, conduit bending, and termination tasks.
- Ensure all work complies with National Electrical Code (NEC) and local safety regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized job site.
- Conduct routine inspections and troubleshoot electrical systems.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Willingness to obtain required certifications (OJT hours) during employment.
- No prior experience necessary; trade school background is a plus.
