Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams.
- Ensure all work is completed in strict compliance with local and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Perform basic electrical testing using multimeters, voltage detectors, and other diagnostic tools.
- Handle tools and materials with care, reporting any damaged equipment immediately.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation are required.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills and the ability to follow instructions precisely.
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to workplace safety.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
