Responsibilities
- Assist licensed electricians in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
- Install conduits, wiring, switches, outlets, and lighting fixtures
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and electrical codes (NEC & California Title 24)
- Perform inspections and testing to ensure system functionality
- Document work progress and maintain clean job sites
Qualifications
- No prior electrical experience required – we train from scratch!
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid California driver's license with clean record
- Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs, work at heights, and endure outdoor conditions
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Basic math proficiency for calculations and measurements
- Willingness to complete 4-year apprenticeship program
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
