Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to understand project requirements.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on electrical equipment and tools to ensure safety and functionality.
- Identify and resolve basic electrical issues under supervision.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Load and unload materials, ensuring proper handling of heavy equipment and wiring supplies.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Basic math and reading comprehension skills are required.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs is mandatory.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a willingness to learn new skills quickly.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
