Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians: Shadow and support senior technicians on job sites, learning installation, repair, and maintenance techniques.
- Tool Management: Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe; assist in the daily inspection and maintenance of tools and equipment.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to ensure a secure working environment for everyone.
- Material Handling: Transport and organize electrical materials, components, and supplies as directed by the project manager.
- Basic Troubleshooting: Observe and assist in diagnosing common electrical issues under supervision.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with clients, ensuring they feel informed and comfortable during the work process.
Qualifications
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old.
- Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to job sites.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Work Ethic: Motivated, punctual, and eager to learn new skills in a hands-on environment.
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Technical Interest: Basic understanding of mathematics and science is a plus.
