Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Learn to read and interpret basic electrical blueprints, schematics, and diagrams.
- Prepare and organize job sites, including pulling wire, installing conduits, and mounting fixtures.
- Perform routine inspections and testing of electrical components to ensure safety and functionality.
- Ensure all work is performed in strict accordance with local and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace at all times.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients.
Qualifications
- No prior experience or certification is required; we value potential and attitude.
- High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation are mandatory.
- Physical stamina to stand, climb, bend, and lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs).
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and at heights when necessary.
- Basic math skills and mechanical aptitude are a plus.
