Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Prepare job sites by gathering materials, tools, and equipment as directed.
- Ensure all work areas remain clean, organized, and compliant with OSHA safety regulations.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Perform routine inspections and tests of electrical systems to ensure functionality and safety.
- Handle basic conduit bending and wire pulling under supervision.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding project status.
Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (must be insurable).
- Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Willingness to obtain required state licensure and certifications.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
