Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians with electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance projects.
- Prepare materials and tools for electrical jobs according to blueprints and specifications.
- Install and connect wires, cables, and conduits in residential and commercial settings.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.
- Learn and utilize various power tools and testing equipment (multimeters, conduit benders).
- Participate in ongoing safety training and certifications.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Basic understanding of mathematics and measurements.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and physical environments.
- Strong desire to learn the electrical trade and willing to get your hands dirty.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
