Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential and commercial buildings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to plan wiring layouts.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure system safety and efficiency.
- Identify and troubleshoot electrical faults using appropriate testing equipment.
- Ensure all work complies with local and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment at all times.
- Handle materials and tools with care, transporting them to and from job sites as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs) and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating electrical loads.
- Willingness to obtain required state licenses and certifications within a set timeframe.
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and safety consciousness.
