Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Perform basic wiring tasks, including pulling wire, stripping insulation, and terminating conduit connections.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and schematics under the guidance of senior staff.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by strictly adhering to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols.
- Transport tools, materials, and equipment to and from job sites efficiently.
- Perform routine inspections of electrical fixtures and equipment to ensure functionality.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid Texas driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and perform physical labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Basic knowledge of math (addition, subtraction, fractions) is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong desire to learn, follow instructions, and work well in a team environment.
