Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Perform basic electrical tasks such as stripping wire, mounting outlets, and installing light fixtures under supervision.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and materials are accounted for.
- Adhere strictly to all local, state, and national electrical codes and safety regulations (OSHA).
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding project progress and requirements.
Qualifications
- No prior experience required; we are willing to train the right candidate.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and climb ladders as needed.
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating material requirements.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive attitude.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
