Role Overview
As an Entry Level Electrician, you will support our senior staff in residential, commercial, and industrial projects. This is an excellent opportunity for those seeking a trade career with excellent job security and benefits.
Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, including conduit bending and wiring.
- Prepare work areas by gathering necessary tools, materials, and equipment from trucks.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to understand project requirements.
- Perform basic electrical tasks such as outlet installation, light fixture mounting, and switch replacements.
- Maintain a clean and safe job site at all times, strictly adhering to OSHA safety regulations.
- Load and unload materials from delivery trucks and organize job sites efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding project progress and safety concerns.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Valid Driver's License and a clean driving record are mandatory.
- Basic math skills and mechanical aptitude are essential for measurements and calculations.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods in various weather conditions.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- No prior experience is necessary; trade school certification or vocational training is a plus but not required.
- Strong desire to learn and grow within the skilled trades industry.
