Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians: Support senior technicians with installations, repairs, and maintenance of electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and organize tools, equipment, and materials at job sites to ensure efficient workflow.
- Site Preparation: Prepare work areas by setting up ladders, scaffolding, and temporary wiring as directed.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA regulations and company safety protocols to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Basic Testing: Assist in using multimeters, voltage detectors, and other testing equipment to troubleshoot simple electrical issues.
- Documentation: Help complete daily logs, time sheets, and material inventory reports accurately.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work in various weather conditions, and stand for extended periods.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and clean driving record required (must be willing to travel to job sites in WA and PA).
- Math Skills: Basic understanding of fractions, measurements, and geometry.
- Work Ethic: Strong desire to learn the trade, attention to detail, and ability to work well in a team.
- Availability: Flexibility to work early mornings, late evenings, and weekends as required by project schedules.
