Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians with installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems.
- Learn and apply the National Electrical Code (NEC) under strict supervision.
- Prepare job sites, organize tools, and ensure a clean and safe workspace.
- Perform basic wiring tasks, including pulling wire, stripping ends, and terminating connections.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- No prior experience necessary; apprenticeship training provided.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Ability to work in various environments, including attics, crawl spaces, and confined areas.
- Basic math skills and the ability to follow detailed instructions.
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, and lift heavy materials for extended periods.
