Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and emergency repairs on commercial and residential plumbing systems during night shifts.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex issues in piping, valves, fixtures, and water heaters.
- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical schematics to plan installation or repair work.
- Install and replace pipes, fittings, and valves using appropriate hand and power tools.
- Ensure all work complies with local building codes and safety regulations.
- Respond promptly to after-hours emergency calls and provide solutions with minimal downtime.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman or Master Plumber License in New York State.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in commercial or residential plumbing.
- Must be available to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 10 PM - 6 AM).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with little supervision.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work in confined spaces.
