Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment.
- Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Perform routine maintenance checks and troubleshoot basic electrical issues.
- Ensure all work is performed in compliance with local, state, and national electrical codes.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Handle and store electrical materials and tools properly.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding project progress.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is preferred but not strictly required.
- Basic knowledge of mathematics and mechanical aptitude is a plus.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and work in various weather conditions.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime.
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and willingness to learn new skills.
- Physical stamina to stand, kneel, and bend for extended periods.
