Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians with installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to understand project requirements.
- Prepare work areas by gathering necessary materials, tools, and equipment.
- Maintain a clean and safe workspace, strictly adhering to OSHA safety standards.
- Perform routine inspections of electrical equipment to ensure functionality and safety compliance.
- Install outlets, switches, lighting fixtures, circuit breakers, and conduits.
- Document work performed and report any material shortages or safety hazards immediately.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- No prior experience required. We are looking for candidates with a strong willingness to learn and a positive attitude.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Basic math skills and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Physical stamina to stand, climb, crawl, and work in various environments (including attics and crawl spaces).
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.
