Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Prepare work areas by organizing tools and materials, and ensuring a clean, safe job site.
- Perform routine inspections of electrical components to identify hazards or defects.
- Load and unload materials, including wire, conduit, and fixtures, from delivery vehicles.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to ensure a safe working environment for the team.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and electrical diagrams to understand project requirements.
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members regarding project status and site conditions.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred; technical or trade school background is a plus but not required.
- Must be willing to obtain an Electrician's License and complete required apprenticeship hours.
- Strong desire to learn and a proactive attitude towards safety.
- Valid Driver's License and a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating material needs.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
