Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation including excavation, grading, and material handling
- Operate heavy machinery (excavators, forklifts) and power tools safely
- Collaborate with carpenters, masons, and other trades on complex builds
- Adhere to OSHA standards and maintain site safety protocols
- Read blueprints and technical specifications for accurate implementation
- Manage inventory and transport materials efficiently
- Complete quality assurance checks and documentation
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on construction experience
- OSHA 10/30 certification required
- Valid Louisiana driver's license
- Proficiency in operating heavy equipment (CDL preferred)
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in extreme conditions
- Blueprint reading and technical math skills
- Strong problem-solving and communication abilities
