Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Perform routine inspections to ensure all electrical work meets local and national codes.
- Install and terminate wiring, conduits, and electrical components.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Document all work performed accurately in daily logs.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects, stand for long periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic math and reading comprehension skills.
- Willingness to obtain required state licensure and certifications.
