Responsibilities
- Perform electrical installation, maintenance, and repair work according to the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to plan installations.
- Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards or defects.
- Ensure all work complies with local and state building codes and safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding project timelines and expectations.
- Travel to job sites in Raleigh, NC and Georgia as required.
Qualifications
- License: Valid Journeyman Electrician License required.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in the electrical trade.
- Skills: Proficiency with electrical testing equipment (multimeters, voltage detectors) and hand tools.
- Transportation: Valid Driver’s License and reliable personal vehicle for travel.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift 50+ lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
