Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Perform basic wiring tasks, conduit bending, and terminal connection under supervision.
- Ensure all work strictly adheres to local and national electrical codes (NEC) and OSHA safety regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work site, including job site cleanup and tool management.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to understand project requirements.
- Test electrical systems and troubleshoot minor issues to ensure proper operation.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding project progress.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable personal transportation.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods on job sites.
- Basic math skills and ability to read standard measurements.
- Physical stamina to work in various weather conditions and climb ladders.
- Enthusiasm for learning and a strong work ethic.
