Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to understand project requirements.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical equipment and wiring.
- Ensure all work complies with local and national electrical codes (NEC) and safety regulations.
- Use a variety of hand and power tools, including multimeters, conduit benders, and wire strippers.
- Maintain a clean and organized job site, ensuring debris is removed and tools are stored safely.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding project progress and any issues encountered.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) and work in various weather conditions.
- Strong desire to learn and a positive attitude toward safety.
- Previous experience is a plus but not required; we value potential and work ethic over experience.
- Basic math skills and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
