Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Learn to read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical equipment to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC) and safety regulations.
- Handle and store electrical materials, tools, and equipment responsibly.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding project status and requirements.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation are mandatory.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Strong desire to learn a skilled trade and a positive attitude toward safety.
