Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, systems, and equipment in residential/commercial settings
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications to ensure code compliance
- Assist senior electricians with troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical faults
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and local electrical codes
- Prepare work areas, organize tools, and maintain clean job sites
- Document work progress and complete safety reports accurately
- Participate in ongoing training programs to develop technical expertise
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Basic understanding of electrical concepts and tools
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in physically demanding environments
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings/weekends
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
