Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Perform routine inspections of electrical panels, wiring, and fixtures to ensure safety and compliance.
- Utilize hand and power tools safely and efficiently to complete tasks.
- Read and interpret basic electrical blueprints and schematics.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Transport materials and equipment to job sites as required.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company policies strictly.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic understanding of mathematics and measurements.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail.
- Willingness to undergo on-the-job training and apprenticeship programs.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment.
