Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to understand project requirements.
- Perform routine inspections and testing of electrical equipment to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Install and connect wiring, outlets, switches, and circuit breakers according to local codes.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to OSHA safety regulations at all times.
- Communicate effectively with team members and project managers.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record are mandatory.
- Basic understanding of mathematics and geometry is preferred.
- Physically fit and capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and working in various weather conditions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to obtain necessary state licensure and certifications upon hire.
