Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to understand project requirements.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical equipment to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Handle tools and materials with care, ensuring a clean and organized work environment.
- Communicate effectively with the team to ensure project timelines are met.
- Adhere strictly to all local, state, and national electrical codes and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is preferred; trade school certification is a plus but not mandatory.
- Willingness to obtain required state licenses and certifications within a specified timeframe.
- Basic understanding of mathematics and reading comprehension skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and a positive attitude.
