Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical schematics.
- Perform basic electrical tasks, including wiring outlets, switches, and fixtures, under supervision.
- Ensure all work strictly complies with local, state, and national electrical codes (OSHA standards).
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure project requirements are met.
- Participate in continuous training to advance toward Journeyman Electrician certification.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Basic understanding of mathematics and mechanical aptitude.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and perform physical labor.
- Strong desire to learn and work in a hands-on trade environment.
- Must be willing to obtain required state licensing and certifications upon completion of training.
