Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians with various residential and commercial wiring projects.
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment safely from delivery trucks.
- Perform basic electrical tasks such as running conduit, stripping wire, and terminating outlets.
- Read and interpret basic electrical blueprints and diagrams under supervision.
- Maintain a clean and safe job site by adhering to all OSHA safety regulations.
- Learn and master the National Electrical Code (NEC) standards.
- Communicate effectively with team members and project managers to ensure project goals are met.
Qualifications
- No prior experience required; we provide comprehensive on-the-job training.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Strong desire to learn and grow within the electrical trade.
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating wire lengths.
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites.
