Responsibilities
- Assist Senior Electricians: Support experienced team members with installation, maintenance, and repair tasks on various electrical systems.
- Site Preparation: Prepare work areas by organizing tools, materials, and equipment before the start of each shift.
- Material Handling: Load and unload materials from trucks, check inventory, and deliver supplies to job sites.
- Basic Electrical Tasks: Perform simple tasks under supervision, such as stripping wire, mounting outlets, and installing fixtures.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure all work is performed in strict accordance with OSHA regulations and local/national electrical codes.
- Site Clean-up: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by clearing debris and organizing tools after use.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Experience: No prior experience required. We are looking for eager learners ready to start their trade career.
- Skills: Basic math skills, ability to read basic instructions, and a mechanical aptitude.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods; good manual dexterity.
- Transportation: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to get to job sites.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends when necessary.
