Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to plan work.
- Ensure all work is completed in strict accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
- Perform routine inspections of electrical components to ensure functionality and safety compliance.
- Communicate effectively with team members and communicate job progress to supervisors.
- Handle and store tools and materials properly to prevent waste and damage.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel to job sites.
- Basic understanding of mathematics (fractions, decimals) is highly beneficial.
- Physical stamina required to stand, bend, and lift heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs).
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions and climb ladders.
- Strong desire to learn the trade and a commitment to safety.
- Any prior experience with tools or construction is a plus but not required.
