Responsibilities
- Install and Maintain: Perform wiring, lighting, and power system installations in residential and commercial settings.
- Diagnose Issues: Troubleshoot electrical faults and repair systems to ensure operational efficiency.
- Read Blueprints: Interpret technical diagrams and electrical schematics to guide installation work.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA and National Electrical Code (NEC) regulations on every job site.
- Equipment Care: Maintain and inspect electrical tools and equipment regularly.
- Site Preparation: Prepare job sites by laying out materials and ensuring a clean work environment.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Experience: No prior experience required. Apprenticeship or trade school is a plus but not mandatory.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
- Math Skills: Basic math skills for measuring and calculating electrical loads.
- Soft Skills: Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn.
