Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with residential and commercial wiring installations, including outlets, switches, and lighting fixtures.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to understand project requirements.
- Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks on electrical systems to ensure functionality and safety.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Maintain a clean and organized job site, adhering to strict safety protocols at all times.
- Use hand and power tools efficiently, including drills, saws, and multimeters.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods while working in various conditions.
- Basic math skills for measuring lengths, angles, and calculating material quantities.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime as required.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
- Physical stamina to navigate job sites, including attics, crawl spaces, and ladders.
