Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with residential and commercial electrical installations, including wiring, outlets, lighting, and panels.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to plan project layouts.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site in compliance with OSHA and local safety codes.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical systems.
- Handle customer service duties, including answering questions and providing updates on job progress.
- Transport tools and materials to job sites efficiently.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various environments (hot, cold, heights).
- Basic math skills for calculating measurements and load requirements.
- Must be willing to obtain a state electrical license within a specified timeframe.
- A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and desire to learn.
