Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians: Support senior team members with wiring, circuit installation, and general electrical maintenance.
- Maintain Safety Standards: Adhere strictly to OSHA regulations and company safety protocols to ensure a hazard-free work environment.
- Perform Basic Tasks: Execute standard duties such as stripping wire, bending conduit, installing outlets, and mounting fixtures.
- Read Technical Drawings: Interpret blueprints, schematics, and floor plans under the guidance of supervisors.
- Use Tools Correctly: Utilize hand and power tools, including drills, saws, and multimeters, safely and efficiently.
- Site Preparation: Help prepare job sites, organize materials, and transport equipment as required.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with project managers and fellow tradespeople to ensure project milestones are met.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required for travel to various job sites.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs), stand for long periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Math Skills: Basic math proficiency for measuring lengths, calculating angles, and reading measurements.
- Stamina: Physical fitness to kneel, crouch, climb ladders, and work in tight spaces.
- Attitude: Strong willingness to learn, follow instructions, and complete mandatory safety training.
- Experience: No prior electrical experience is required. We are looking for motivated candidates ready to train.
