Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential and commercial buildings.
- Read and interpret basic electrical blueprints and schematic drawings.
- Install wiring, conduits, and electrical fixtures according to local codes and safety regulations.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools and materials are stored properly.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety standards and company protocols to ensure a hazard-free workplace.
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members regarding project status and requirements.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy materials and working in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
- Strong desire to learn and a willingness to follow instructions from senior staff.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- No prior electrical experience is necessary; we are looking for trainees.
