Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to understand project requirements.
- Perform basic wiring tasks, terminal connections, and fixture installations.
- Ensure all work complies with local and national electrical codes (NEC) and safety regulations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site at all times.
- Operate and maintain power tools, test equipment, and other electrical machinery.
- Replace or repair faulty electrical components and troubleshoot basic circuit issues.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Basic math skills and ability to read measurements accurately.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) and work in various weather conditions.
- Willingness to obtain required state licensure and certifications.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- No prior experience required; on-the-job training provided.
