Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems.
- Hang and secure conduit, wire, and cable according to blueprints and specifications.
- Perform basic electrical tasks such as stripping wire, terminating connections, and mounting outlets and switches.
- Read and interpret basic electrical schematics and blueprints.
- Ensure all work areas are clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.
- Assist in troubleshooting electrical issues under supervision.
- Maintain accurate records of materials used and work performed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- No prior experience required (Apprentices are highly encouraged to apply).
- Valid Texas Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills and ability to read a tape measure.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills.
