As an entry-level electrician with us, you will work under the guidance of master electricians to gain hands-on experience in residential and commercial electrical systems. We believe in promoting from within and offer clear pathways for professional advancement.
Responsibilities
- Assist Senior Electricians: Support the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial electrical systems under supervision.
- Read Blueprints: Learn to interpret electrical plans and schematics to understand project requirements.
- Wire and Connect: Install conduits, wires, and electrical components while ensuring all connections are secure and up to code.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
- Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and maintenance on electrical equipment to prevent failures and ensure efficiency.
- Customer Service: Interact with clients professionally, explaining work completed and answering questions regarding electrical systems.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; technical certification is a plus but not mandatory.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Driver’s License: Valid Texas driver’s license with a clean driving record is required.
- Work Ethic: Strong willingness to learn, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude toward problem-solving.
- Tools: Basic understanding of hand tools is preferred, but we provide on-the-job training.
- Communication: Good verbal communication skills to work effectively within a team.
