Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with residential and commercial installations and repairs.
- Perform routine maintenance and safety inspections on electrical systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Ensure all work complies with local and national electrical codes (NFPA 70E).
- Organize the job site, keep tools in good condition, and manage materials.
- Identify and troubleshoot basic electrical faults under direct supervision.
- Document work completed and report any safety hazards immediately.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) preferred.
- Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record are mandatory.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions (heat/cold).
- Basic understanding of mathematics for measurements and calculations.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
- Willingness to obtain required certifications and safety training.
- Team-oriented attitude with a desire to learn.
