Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand project requirements.
- Ensure all work is performed in strict accordance with local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC) and safety regulations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work site at all times, complying with OSHA standards.
- Use hand and power tools, as well as testing equipment, to diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues.
- Perform routine inspections of equipment to identify potential hazards or maintenance needs.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required; technical certification or apprenticeship program completion is a plus.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required for site travel.
- Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy materials, climbing ladders, and working in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills and the ability to read and understand technical instructions.
- A strong willingness to learn, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety.
