Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams under supervision.
- Perform routine inspections and testing of electrical components to ensure compliance with local codes and safety standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and materials are accounted for.
- Prepare job sites by setting up ladders, scaffolding, and necessary electrical supplies.
- Document work completed accurately in daily logs and safety reports.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions.
- Strong desire to learn and a commitment to safety protocols.
- Basic math skills for calculating measurements and wiring lengths.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
