Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians with the installation of electrical systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Perform basic wiring tasks, including running conduit and stripping wire.
- Inspect electrical components, such as transformers and circuit breakers, to ensure functionality.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and technical diagrams.
- Handle tools and materials with care, ensuring inventory accuracy.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding project status.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Valid Driver’s License is preferred but not mandatory for training.
- Must be physically capable of lifting 50+ lbs and working in various weather conditions.
- Strong desire to learn and work in a hands-on trade.
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating material needs.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
