Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Prepare work sites by gathering necessary tools, materials, and equipment.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings under supervision.
- Perform basic wiring tasks, including running conduit and terminating wires, ensuring all work meets local and national codes.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site in strict adherence to OSHA safety regulations.
- Test electrical systems to ensure proper functionality and troubleshoot minor issues.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure project requirements are met.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Strong desire to learn the trade and a willingness to follow instructions carefully.
- Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Team-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills.
