Responsibilities
- Assist licensed electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Perform basic wiring tasks including terminating wires, mounting outlets, and installing switches and fixtures.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and technical diagrams under supervision.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area, adhering to all OSHA safety standards.
- Utilize hand and power tools effectively to complete assigned tasks efficiently.
- Communicate regularly with project managers and team members regarding progress and safety issues.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred (or equivalent life experience).
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation are required.
- Ability to perform physical labor including lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for extended periods, and working in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills for accurate measurements and material calculations.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a willingness to learn a new trade.
